The kids and I headed to Texas during their spring break to spend some time with family. My sweet nephew who lives in South Carolina was able to come at the same time and the kids had so much fun playing together.
We took them to a local egg hunt and carnival on Saturday. Alexa's favorite (as always) was the horses while the boys enjoyed the barrel train.
After the carnival, we returned to my parents' house so the kids could decorate Easter eggs.
The kids were very excited to find eggs the next morning and see what was left in their Easter baskets!
After church, we had lunch with family and Alexa performed her Viola concert for everyone. Her school concert was the previous week, but she had been sick and unable to perform. :( Thankfully, they also do a concert in May.
It's hard to get a photo of this kid without a silly face!
This kid likes to make silly faces too!

The next day, we took the kids to the Children's Museum in Lake Charles. We've taken them before and its a really fun museum! They had some new exhibits this time, including the bayou canoe with the 'green screen'. :)
The next day, one of Papaw's goats had twins! The kids were soooo excited to see the...well, kids! The baby goats are only about 4 hours old in these photos.
The trip went by way too quickly, but we had fun and were able to catch up with lots of cousins and friends!
