On Friday (June 9th), Mom, Alexa, Brody, and I drove to Charleston to go to a waterpark with John, Misty, and Haylee. Alexa had picked out a new bathing suit for this summer (not surprising, she picked one with a disney princess on it!). The night before we were leaving, we asked her to try it on so we could make sure it fit before she went to the water park with Haylee. She loved it so much, she didn't want to take it off! The next morning, she came out of her room with the bathing suit in hand, saying "I wear this to play in the water with Haylee!" Needless to say, she wore her bathing suit the whole way down to Charleston! She wasn't really sure what to think about the fountains in the toddler area, and while she did play in the water and go down the lazy river with Uncle John, she didn't want to get water in her eyes! This photo was taken right before we left the house - Alexa is wearing her bathing suit and cover up with the tiara from my wedding--told you she was a little princess!
On Sunday, Brody made his first visit to church! He hung out with us this Sunday, but next Sunday, we may let him visit the nursery. He did pretty well until the pastor started preaching, and then he became a little vocal!
Today Grandma Judy goes back to Texas...we've been really spoiled over the last three weeks and for the first time since Brody was born, have to adjust to life with two kids and no grandma around! Guess I'll have to start cooking now too! But seriously, we have enjoyed the company so much and look forward to the next visit which will be in just a few weeks since John's graduation and commissioning is July 8th. Also, Billy's mom will be arriving June 27th, so we'll only have to survive a few weeks before we have more "grandma" time!

Alexa is growing up so much! She is so cute! Thanks for keeping us posted on how things are going, it makes us feel like we're there. Can't wait to meet baby Brody.

They are growing so fast Jen! Looking as adorable as ever, too. We sold our house too and will be moving the first part of July. How are Billy's orders doing? Did they come through yet?
